APAD #NYC: 200 streets

So I set from my home at 11:30, with an aim to explore the area above 125th St. – I have only been there once..that too the Cloisters..does not count!

Well, it turns out, there’s a reason why very few people go there – there is nothing really interesting out there! No food places (tonnes of Dunkins and McDs and KFCs – but noting special); no places of great culture, decent-at-best parks and a less than lively environment :-/

I walked all the way up to Bronx (225th street) and back just to find something interesting – no such luck! A lot of things came close though

Did really make me smile for a moment there!

There is this area around 185th St. inhabited mostly by members of the Hispanic community - beautiful homes

That's just a 100 Streets! 100 more to go!

Got threatened by these fine gentlemen who seemed to mind me taking a photograph of their Domino game

Well, walking 200 Streets should be enough exercise for the Saturated Fat I am going to intake at Hell’s Kitchen today!
